Swetha Chirumamilla was a remarkable individual whose journey was filled with dedication, passion, and a relentless spirit to make a difference. She embarked on her educational path at St. Ann’s Convent School in Secunderabad, where she completed her schooling till the 10th grade under the ICSE curriculum. Continuing her academic journey, she pursued her Intermediate and Engineering degrees at Chaitanya College and BVRIT Engineering College, respectively.
Tragically, Swetha’s life was cut short in a devastating accident. On a fateful Monday morning on September 25, 2023, while enjoying the beauty of Rialto Beach in Washington state with her friends, a wave overpowered the group, leading to her drowning in the Pacific Ocean. Despite extensive search efforts, Swetha was found several hours later on the shore, confirming her passing.
Swetha’s professional journey took flight when she was recruited during a campus interview at BVRIT by VIRTUSA in Hyderabad. After gaining valuable experience for two years, she set her sights on higher education and excellence. This led her to the United States, where she pursued her post-graduation in M.S. (MIS) at the University of Houston, Texas. During her time there, she actively participated in the International Student Association (ISA), where she offered her support and guidance to fellow students facing various challenges.
Despite her untimely departure, Swetha’s legacy lives on through the memories of her family, friends, and all those she influenced during her life. Her compassionate nature, leadership qualities, and unwavering spirit continue to inspire others to make a positive impact in their communities.
Armed with her newfound knowledge and experiences, Swetha Chirumamilla was recruited by the prestigious organization REDHAT Inc. Her dedication, leadership qualities, and helping nature not only made her successful professionally but also left a lasting impact on everyone she worked with.
